About this one
L'il Scarecrow from Sky Kids Inc.'s 1993 "The Wizard of Oz Toddlers" Collector's Edition line, Style No. 8861 — still sealed and never removed from his window box. The doll and his accessory bag, with the diploma and boots visible inside, have stayed put for over three decades; the copyright block on the back traces the license from 1939 Loew's through MGM to Turner Entertainment. The box itself has taken the hits instead: crushed corners, creasing, surface scuffing, and a window gone cloudy with age. Contents were verified visually through the window only — it has never been opened.
