Common Questions
Do you handle hosting?
No — and that's intentional. We set up your site on your own Vercel, Netlify, or hosting account and hand you the keys. You pay the hosting provider directly (often free for simple sites). This means you're never dependent on us to keep your site online.
What does "source code delivered" mean?
Once the project is paid in full, we give you the complete source code — all files, configs, everything. You can take it to any developer in the future, host it anywhere, or modify it yourself.
What counts as a revision?
A revision round is one batch of feedback addressed. You collect all your notes, send them at once, and we address them in one pass. Revisions must be within the original scope — changing colors, copy, layout. Adding new sections or features is quoted separately.
What does the 30-day warranty cover?
Any bug that's our fault — something that breaks because of our code, not because of a hosting change, your edits, or a third-party service going down. Post-warranty support is billed at the standard hourly rate.
What is the payment structure?
50% upfront to start the project, 50% on delivery. Source code is transferred only after final payment. No exceptions — this protects both sides.
Can I see what the site will look like before I pay?
Yes — every project starts with a password-protected demo site hosted on our end. You review it, approve it, then we hand everything off. The demo is free and counts toward your project.
Who owns the site after it's built?
You own your content, branding, and all custom design. Nekurai retains ownership of reusable internal components and templates (which we may use in other projects), but everything specific to your site is yours after final payment.
Do you work with clients outside Texas?
Absolutely. Everything is remote-friendly. Texas jurisdiction applies to all contracts regardless of client location.
